A workshop which addresses SDG 5 and its importance, as well as how paramount it is for women and men alike to take a stand in order to develop a better future for all! Walk Tall WOMAN is a Gender Equality related movement that was formed on the strong belief that your part and your voice are all that are needed to fight against gender inequality, hence our workshop’s title is that. This initiative educates women on how they can change themselves through courage and confidence on the inside, in order to reflect a positive change on the outside! This project was started and continued knowing how apparent the fight against gender inequality is a vision of both the MUN and the UN societies alike.
Hey everyone! My name is Neo Mokhakala. I am an IB student at Machabeng College and live in Maseru, Lesotho. MUN is a passion of mine that I love pursuing and I feel like it’s a great way to meet new people. Although I am not yet a member of Walk Tall WOMAN but I am more than excited to join the team and contribute to the implementation of the SDGs!
I am Emihle Bande, I’m a student at St Thomas private school in South Africa, I’m interested in gender equality, eradication of gender based violence, and I’ve been in MUN for about a year now. My greatest aim is to see women’s rights respected and men and women treated alike.
