Event Details
My workshop will focus on the importance of virtual learning and the participation of youths. I will be talking about my experiences with virtual events starting from MUN to webinars, conferences, and various social media initiatives, and how these inspired a few of my associates and me to create our own social media initiative where we try and highlight stories of different people who have faced their share of judgments. We try to encourage dialogue on issues of social importance. The main message to participants would be to invest in their learning to inspire more of it.
I will talk about the process of starting our social media initiative, called Briddhi (@briiddhi on IG), from creating the account/page, to planning our present and future, searching for stories, and reaching out to people. I will share our struggles to keep it running, and the effort needed to keep it relevant and inspiring.
