Event Details

The workshop will talk about the theme of equity and its relationship to the Sustainable Development Goals. The main topics to be discussed are: what the SDGs are, the differences between equity and equality, what the United Nations is doing to achieve equity, actions that can be taken in order to ensure equity, and a description of an action campaign organised by MUN Impact, the 100K Deeds Challenge. The aim of the workshop is to discuss different viewpoints on the topic and highlight the idea that all actions count to achieve the 2030 Agenda. At the end of the session, participants will be able to ask questions and express their opinions.

Maria Teresa Egea Diaz

My name is María Teresa Egea and I’m a 17-year-old student from Spain. I have been participating in MUN conferences for around two years and a half, and it has been an eye-opening experience for me! Aside from that, I’ve also been a member of MUN Impact for just under a year.

Meera Ranjan

I am Meera Ranjan, a 16-year-old, Grade-12 Student from Chennai, India. I am the Head of India for the 100k Deeds Challenge. I have attended over 10 MUNs and many online MUNs and love debating. I am deeply passionate about achieving the SDGs and committed to creating a positive change in society. I joined MUN Impact as I found the principle behind the organization very interesting- an organization that conducts MUNs, but also inspires change in the world!
