Ambi Subramaniam and Bindu Subramaniam

Hailed as “the new king of Indian classical violin” and “India’s Itzhak Perlman,” Ambi Subramaniam has been trained by his father and guru Dr. L. Subramaniam since he was three years old. He gave his first stage performance at the age of seven. Ambi has received awards and recognition, including the Ritz Icon of the Year Award, the Rotary Youth Award, and two Global Indian Music Awards. He was awarded a golden violin by Sri Jayendra Saraswati when he was 18.

Along with his sister Bindu, Ambi runs the SaPa in Schools program, which teaches music to over 30,000 young children in schools in India. He also co-hosts The SaPa Show on Sankara TV, which teaches global music to young children. He formed SubraMania and The Thayir Sadam Project; their music videos have received millions of views on social media, and the musicians have performed across India and around the world.
